Then I chose some warm earth colors and made suttle southamerican theme in the rest of the layouts. They have roots in peru. Today they sell food from around the world, mostly Indian food and sandwiches. It had to be in the cheap end of a budget, but still be able to fill out the rooms big time. Since this is a communal building I decided to take elements of the outside Nørrebro, and place inside the café. I decided to do it with a simple style posters in black and white. That way we could easily cover up the horrible puke-green colorscheme from 1991 and still be within budget. It is a restaurant by the old canal i the middle of Copenhagen. They are some amazing people making amazing food. I wanted to keep the style young and urban, like then people working there, but in the execution give it and vintage twist. So therefore you have the boneskull logo and typeface in a super tight, very graphic style, up against the old wood and raw texture in the paper. Their food is very much like that aswell, old in recipe - young in presentation.
